These terms apply to the use of Inburgeringscursus.nl and the exam-preparation platform offered through it. Please read them before you buy. By creating an account or buying access, you agree to them.
1. Who we are
Inburgeringscursus.nl is a trade name of OBH Media, established at Walnootstraat 1, 2871 RX Schoonhoven (KvK 96292695, VAT NL005199564B95). We provide online preparation for the Dutch civic-integration exam (inburgeringsexamen). You can reach us at info@inburgeringscursus.nl. Your purchase is an agreement with OBH Media, and that is the name that appears on your invoice.
We are not affiliated with or certified by DUO. We are an independent preparation platform. Our content mirrors publicly published DUO sample materials. Passing the official exam is never guaranteed; the result depends on you and on DUO's assessment.
2. What you get
Full Access gives you unlimited practice across the exam parts (Reading, Listening, Writing, Speaking and KNM), feedback on your writing and speaking, and progress tracking, for the duration of your chosen plan. A single module gives access to one part, for people retaking one part. The current features and prices are always shown on the pricing page. We may improve or adjust features over time without reducing the core of what you bought.
3. Prices and payment
All prices are in euros and include VAT. The price on the pricing page is the full amount you pay: nothing is added at checkout. Payment is handled securely in the app. You can pay per month, or pay once upfront on the 6 and 12-month terms (which costs a little less than the same term billed monthly). The price you see at checkout is the price you pay for that term.
4. Your right of withdrawal and money-back guarantee (14 days)
As a consumer buying a digital service, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal. We also offer this as a simple money-back guarantee: within 14 days of activating your account you may cancel and get a full refund of what you paid, even if you have already started using the platform. Just email info@inburgeringscursus.nl within those 14 days and we will refund you, no questions asked.
These 14 days run from the day your account is activated. If your plan starts with a free period, that is still the starting point: the 14 days are counted from activation, not from your first payment.
After the 14 days, the right of withdrawal ends and the normal cancellation terms in section 5 apply.
5. Duration, cancelling and renewals
- Monthly plan: runs month to month and is fully flexible. You can cancel at any time, and access continues until the end of the paid month. It does not renew beyond what you pay for.
- 6 and 12-month terms: run for the term you chose and then simply end. They do not renew automatically; we will not silently charge you again. If you want to continue afterwards, you start a new term yourself.
- Plans that start with a free month (referral): the free period runs for 30 days. After that, the plan is billed monthly until the end of the term you chose, and then ends automatically. There is no automatic renewal.
If your circumstances change unexpectedly, for example through a move, illness, or an exam you have already passed, send us a message. We do not hold people to something they no longer need, and we will look for a solution together.
You manage and cancel your plan in the app.
6. Refer a friend
If you have an active 6 or 12-month plan, you can invite a friend with a personal link. It works like this.
What your friend gets. They start a 6 or 12-month plan and pay nothing for the first 30 days. After that, the plan is billed monthly until the end of the term, and then ends automatically.
What you get. Once your friend has made their first real payment, you receive credit worth one month of your own plan. The amount depends on the plan you are on. This is credit, not a payout: it is deducted from your next invoice, so that invoice is lower or zero. We do not transfer money to your bank account.
Who can take part. Both sides need a 6 or 12-month plan. Monthly plans do not take part, on either side. You can invite as many people as you like.
What does not count. You cannot refer yourself; invitations linked to your own email address or payment account do not qualify. Each person you refer earns credit once. We may withhold credit where we see misuse.
If your friend gets a refund. Credit is only final once your friend's first paid month has been paid for and kept. If they receive a refund or file a chargeback, the credit is reversed. If it has already been deducted from one of your invoices, the amount is added back to what you owe, and it is settled with your next invoice.
Changing or ending the programme. We may change, pause or end the referral programme at any time. Credit you have already earned stays yours.
If your term ends while you still have credit left, email us and we will sort it out with you.
7. Acceptable use
The content is for your own personal exam preparation. You may not copy, resell, redistribute or publish it, and you may not share your account with others.
8. Liability
We provide the platform with care and keep it available as far as reasonably possible. We cannot, however, guarantee a specific exam result, uninterrupted availability, or that the platform is free of every error. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any damage arising from the use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the event. This does not limit liability that cannot be excluded by law (such as intent or gross negligence).
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when features or rules change. The date at the top shows when they last changed. For a running plan, material changes that disadvantage you do not apply retroactively to the term you already paid for.
10. Applicable law
Dutch law applies to these terms and to any agreement based on them. Disputes are submitted to the competent Dutch court, unless mandatory consumer law gives you the right to another court. As a consumer you may also use the EU's online dispute-resolution platform.
